You just Got SPREED!

I just went on a shopping spree for y birthday present... Zara, Jcrew, Gap....

It was great, I got alot of new dresses because I'mm trying to change up my style from tomboy, safari look to chic.... yet NOT CUTESEY.... and kinda tomboy. I HATE CUTESEY... Sorry to all you girly girls out there but I hate being called a little girl who's a cute little thing that just sits there looking pretty. NOPE.

Soo... enough about me... what about all your back-to-school shopping? Any good? To the ones who have finished school..... How was shopping in general?

ANYWAY. Please enjoy this picture of my friends hilarious cat, Percy...

He's a VERY unusual cat... WE LOVE HIM SO MUCH!

Im still in Florida. I went to the beach and found this sea glass:

Green, white and brown. I'm pretty sure that the brown one is from an old beer bottle, the white one is unknown and the green one is from like, a soda can or something.
Whenever I look at them, I always think "Martine, you've just found ancient glass. Sitting there right in your hand." But then realize, the world is so polluted that there are probably millions of ancient sea glass pieces because some people just smash their bottles and let it float out to sea for some random girl to find it (which BTW is me) and put it on her blog...
*Only a psychic person can do that, but I can dream. *

Ha

This I found on Youtube, in which I automatically posted. Beck Bennett as a host in a Youtube T.V joke. This is pretty funny because I believe that a 10 yr old, 7 yr old and an 8 yr old would really probably act like this. Please share this video, because it's awesome.

Girl In the Arena

I'm reading this really good new book called: Girl in the Arena by Lise Haines. It's all about a gladiator. A teenage girl named Lyn, daughter of seven Glads. Her mother marries an all famous Glad, they divorce, Lyn becomes popular and popular each time. Her only true father is the man who started her fame who is known as Tommy, the best of them all. When a new and young Gladiator slays him, the public tries to think up the unthinkable sentance, Lyn must marry her father's murderer. Lyn is prepared to do whatever it takes to gain her independence, even if it means fighting to the death.
I tweaked the blurb a bit so I'd make more sense....

This is the cover:

Really Bad Made up Mystery

Mary was singing the song that never ends to impress her friends. "Wow! How did you learn that?" her boring and lazy friends asked. "Well, I learned it a long time ago. Yep, that old silly song has been in my family for years, never forgot the ending."

One of the friends said: "Mary, your humor is great but your stories aren't"

WHY DID SHE KNOW MARY WAS LYING?
*Note: All lame and obvious kids mysteries are structured like this.

I really hope you don't get stumped. I really do.

Can you believe technology?

Sorry, been out again. But anyway,

Last night, I went out to see the sunset on my scooter with Athena. We went to the Hudson River park. It was pretty, of course, crowded. A posse of teenagers singing the Barbie theme song. Tourists. Joggers blocking the road so I CANNOT SIMPLY RIDE. Oh, I finished another book in two nights. So glad that these are coming from the library! Or else I'd be broke.

Anyway, I got a lot of comments (well, two is like a tital wave for me) so thanks people!

Also, I'd like to introduce you to:

My favorite vintage commercials!

Price Tag

Hello! I just got a new haircut! It's at an angle. Longer in the front, shorter in the back. My friend E. J went with me and got a bob cut. Anyway, I didn't see last nights SNL because I couldn't stay up, but I saw it this morning. Jessie J.- I like the song, but look lady, you have pants that make you look weird and a horrible haircut. So, yeah...

Here's her concert on SNL:

Visiting

I'm here with Firewolf, another blogspot blogger. (AKA, one of my friends) We're creating a short clay animation. (Stop animation) and it will come out around June 2011. It's short, so don't expect much of it. But here's my definition of clay:

CLAY
cl-ay
A messy material that sticks to anything and makes your hands stick so much it's un-washable. They're favorite material to cling to is your face.

Dreaming or daydreaming

If I told you that your entire life was really just a dream, how would you react?
To answer this question, I took a survey of a bunch of new yorkers and they said:

"I'd be paralyzed in shock"

"I'd would refuse to believe it's"

"would look around and wonder what my real life as if this wasn't it"

"I would start pinching myself."

So, to new yorkers, loads of them would most likly be confused.
Would, I'd probably scream. I worked so hard on m life! Bing told that it was all imagination in some stupid sleep would ruin me... How yould you respond?
