BULLIES SUCK. YOU RULE YOUR OWN LIFE.

I've recently looked in and back on bullying. I guess that this year, it's become a huge deal. I was bullied, still am and probably always will be. Sometimes, it for being smarter than someone... but truthfully, that doesn't happen in many cases. Sometimes it for my height, I'm pretty short. Usually it's because I'm not one of who I like to call "The Prissies". To me, they're those mean group of girls over their who comment negatively, start rumors and give you a hard time. Yeah, I know lots of those. Most of them used to be friends. But when I ignored all those signs and sites about standing up to them, telling (it's not tattletaling)  I had probably the hardest time I've ever had in school, and socially in general. I felt dumb, used and betrayed. So people, (mostly girls) STAND UP TO THOSE PRISSIES, TATTLETALES AND IDIOTS...

They are not the leader of your life. You are. They don't choose what the hell you wear, say or do. YOU DO. And you should.

Creepy. Enough said.

Bunch 'o Stuff

My new favorite picture! From now o, instead of that fail of a "DAILY COMIC"
I'm doing weekly photo. They may or not be mine. This one belongs to Natalie Dee (Who I love!)
The website in my opinion  isn't recommended for people under the age of 12.

Kay, anyway... Im obsessed with this website called Morph Thing.
You can morph two people's faces together. For example:

Jennifer Anistion mixed with Angelina Jolie!
Creepy right?

Speaking of Jennifer Anistion... I was biking on sunday and went to this perfume shop. (My house smells vaugly of poop. Needed fancy candles) And I walked in and stayed there, 20 minutes later Jennifer walks in. I was kinda cool, thinking about her in real life, not just in movies.

ANYWAY, this is a list of stuff to check out (Some of it is for New Yorkers):

Great place to visit at least one time in your life

LOVE 'EM

LOL, funniest people on earth

I LOVE concerts, this s the most accurate, helpful and clear concert website on the web

BEST BOOKSTORE OPENED, a completely cheaper version of Barnes and Noble. (Even has more books and a better variety)

Best place to get a cupcake in NYC ever!
Best place to get a cake in NYC ever!

Best person and singer in the world.... so support her! I think she's going to be the "next big thing" if that means anything to you

SUMMERTIME IS MY TIME AND NOTHING ELSE MATTERS 'CAUSE SUMMERTIME IS VACATION TIME WHICH IS MY TIME WHICH IS RELAXING TIME WHICH IS A MAKE-YOU-FEEL-GOOD-TIME AND A THIS-POST-MAKES-NO-SENSE-TIME.

Friendship poem by Nandi Dumakude

I have a friend, a friend in word & a friend indeed.
A friend who loves me with all friends being & I love friend too.
My friend rejuvenates me
A friend of my youth,
A friend indeed!

I have a friend in word, my friend reminds me of my purpose in life
I can exhale with my friend by my side
My friend is good to me
A friend indeed!

When my friend is gone, I miss my friend already
But my friend has gone home because I am home for now
But the truth is our home is in our friendship.
I have a friend, a friend indeed!

My friend in word is my friend indeed and my friend in need.
Friendship is all we need & we have.
I have a friend a friend indeed!

Anyway, bye! In a rush so I'll post better later. Bye!

Im on!

Found time between all the fun to post! Fill-up!

My Faze in Songs
In order of passion

  • Super Bass- Nicki Manaj
  • Raise Your Glass- P!nk
  • The Lazy Song- Bruno Mars
  • Rolling in the Deep- Adele
  • Waking Up in Vegas- Katy Perry
  • Fix You- Coldplay
  • Just the Way You Are- Bruno Mars
  • Who Says- Selena Gomez
  • Rude Boy- Rihanna

I got a mood necklace. Apparently, I'm aways passionate. No, I won't disagree... but it's only a bit suspicious that when I put it in the freezer for a phony test, it turned "relaxed" (orange). I still wear it because I think it's pretty. Every once in a while, it turns blue (happy). Anyway, I'm reading "The Throne of Fire" by Rick Riordan. PERSONALLY, the other books were great. This one is slightly boring. Kind of an over reactor. Like being too child-like. I mean, just my opinion. It's not much different from the other one. BUT, I'm only a bit into the book so I'm expecting it to get better throughout. Don't want my opinion? Back off my blog.

So, tell me what's going on with your lives. Comment below!

GRADUATE? ME? HECK YA!

I Just GRADUATED!

Graduation! When they called me, I stood up to get my diploma! Went out to do a final countdown with my friends! Awesome memory to have! Took many pictures and congratulated everyone! (Even enemies) I can't believe it ALL OVER! It all payed off! All that hard work of studying and writing papers and straining over math problems... did I ever mention that it's all OVER? Don't believe I did!

Next year here I come!

This was what I wore:

It looks really small but in reality, is a decent length. LOVE IT! Comment and tell me the ups and downs about it.  -------------->

OH! I ALMOST FORGOT!

Stupid me. Im going on a offline in mid-july so don't expect many posts during that time.

Swan Lake

I just got back from watching Swan Lake, a American ballet theatre play. What makes it much cooler than it may sound is that it was a dress rehearsal. So the director was modifying and correcting scenes and moves. I personally didn't know the Swan Lake story. When I was three, I watched the Barbie princess Disney version. Does that count? I dunno. But in the Barbie movie, she marries the prince. In the ballet, she falls off a cliff. End of story. Her love dies with her. Happy ending huh? I can see why Barbie changed it.

BUT, the crazy thing is that just before intermission, the above set fixture fell. It was terrible. A poor background swan dancer was making her entrance when a huge set fixture came crashing down in front of her, she was so close I thought she was hit. The crew came flooding out and turned the lights on, which was an opportunity for me to learn. (All black clothes, ninja unseen style) After, they were forced to close the curtains and I saw two crew members escorting the petrified ballerina offstage. Then, the director announced that nobody was injured. But I mean, wow. A professionally installed set fixture fell from the ceiling and almost hit a preformer, how long has it been since that happened in the A.B.T?

Anyway, random picture by natalie dee:

"Back off, I'm queen" - Maseo, my cat

Hey, I'm back from what is a weeks of busy days. So this is whats going on...

  • My school play is so soon that there's an entire week dedicated to rehearsals. I've been missing a bunch of class time due to that.
  • I've dropped all the things I was stressed about.... finishing my writing project in time, going to the right school and others. STRESS-FREE!!!
  • I'm 100% fed-up with bullying. It's so simple, yet so effective and worthless
  • I'm going to England over the summer with family. It's probably going to be a photographer's wonderland. (Well, in my mind it will be)
  • I'm trying to post at least every saturday, sunday, friday or tuesday. Or maybe twice a week. I'll just see how that goes for me.
  • The only thing I'm going crazy about is a present for my best friend. (No comment J.M, I need to make another) She's a girl so I'm aiming for something girly (I'm no girly-girly) but at the same time simplistic and unusual. If you have any suggestions just comment them...

Anyway, I came back a while ago but had to catch up with everything so I was too busy to post. So, what did everyone do over vacation???... if you had vacation.

I did all of the following:

  • See my little cousins, V. and P.
  • Go to the beach every day

  • Swim, shuffle my feet
  • Float on rafts and get drifted 21 umbrella camps from mine

Grammy F. 1000 Heaven St. apt ∞, FL

Dear beloved Grammy,

I love you, and always will. The house is so quiet and sad without you and Granddad. I hope you're looking down at me and E. J. from up there in Harley Heaven. We've seen many of your collections in the past two days. I cannot believe how many pictures are stored up from the past! The ones of dad are really funny. Seeing all the people in 60's fashion makes me laugh out loud. And the way people used to wear their pants? Highwater, that's funny now but normal then...
Anyway, I miss you and when we got together to celebrate the great and long life you had, I didn't know anyone but if it was in honor of you, I'm fine with it. Tell Granddad to write to me that would be amazing. I saw pictures of you and him from when you were little! You all still look the same to me. But the resemblance between the young Russell and E. J. is incredible. Same shape of face and even expression.
Well, I'm guessing you're really busy. Up with your head in the clouds. Remember, I'll always love you!

Sincerely,

Martine

Im still in Florida. I went to the beach and found this sea glass:

Green, white and brown. I'm pretty sure that the brown one is from an old beer bottle, the white one is unknown and the green one is from like, a soda can or something.
Whenever I look at them, I always think "Martine, you've just found ancient glass. Sitting there right in your hand." But then realize, the world is so polluted that there are probably millions of ancient sea glass pieces because some people just smash their bottles and let it float out to sea for some random girl to find it (which BTW is me) and put it on her blog...
*Only a psychic person can do that, but I can dream. *

Ha

This I found on Youtube, in which I automatically posted. Beck Bennett as a host in a Youtube T.V joke. This is pretty funny because I believe that a 10 yr old, 7 yr old and an 8 yr old would really probably act like this. Please share this video, because it's awesome.

Girl In the Arena

I'm reading this really good new book called: Girl in the Arena by Lise Haines. It's all about a gladiator. A teenage girl named Lyn, daughter of seven Glads. Her mother marries an all famous Glad, they divorce, Lyn becomes popular and popular each time. Her only true father is the man who started her fame who is known as Tommy, the best of them all. When a new and young Gladiator slays him, the public tries to think up the unthinkable sentance, Lyn must marry her father's murderer. Lyn is prepared to do whatever it takes to gain her independence, even if it means fighting to the death.
I tweaked the blurb a bit so I'd make more sense....

This is the cover:

Lincoln & JFK

Did you ever notice all the weird coincidences between Abraham Lincoln and John Fizgerald Kennedy? I found them in a book called "PICK ME UP" (which BTW, is not a chapter book or anything, just random really interesting and also a bit funny and mysterious facts)

Anyway,

These are the weirdest so-called 'coincidences' that I learned:

Abe was elected to Congress in 1846
John was elected to Congress 1946

Lincoln and Kennedy both have 7 letters in them

Both shot in the Head

Abe was elected president in 1860
John was elected president in 1960

Both killed by Southerners

Both of their wives lost their children in the White House

Both where shot on a Friday

Both concerned with Civil Rights

Lincoln's secretary's name was Kennedy, who warned him not to go to the theatre
Kennedy's secretary's name was Lincoln, who warned him not to go to Dallas

John Wilkes Booth was born in 1839
Lee Harvey Oswald was born in 1939

Both murders where known by their three names, and both had 15 letters in all

Booth and Oswald where assassinated before their trials

Booth ran from a theatre and was caught in a warehouse
Oswald ran from a warehouse and was caught in a theatre

WEIRD ISN'T IT? MAYBE IT'S NO COINCIDENCE!

One of my favorite songs....

This song is one of the below. After you hear it, please choose and comment your pick.

A. A song for traveling
B. A song from an old T.V show
C. Annoying
D. The opinion always starts with A
E. All of the above
F. All of the above besides D

Really Bad Made up Mystery

Mary was singing the song that never ends to impress her friends. "Wow! How did you learn that?" her boring and lazy friends asked. "Well, I learned it a long time ago. Yep, that old silly song has been in my family for years, never forgot the ending."

One of the friends said: "Mary, your humor is great but your stories aren't"

WHY DID SHE KNOW MARY WAS LYING?
*Note: All lame and obvious kids mysteries are structured like this.

I really hope you don't get stumped. I really do.

Playdough

Did you ever notice that at the end of each commercial they say "Fun to play with not to eat!"

Ew.

Why would anyone in the right mind include that in theyre advertisment?
Yeah sure, it's true. Some little girl might sculpture it as an apple and  then a toddler would lick and bite it... but still....

That's more about parenting! Not the product itself!

Well, have a nice day....

IM A WOOZY PERSON

Sorry, I feel really woozy and loose because I just got back from swimming at the YMCA. This is one unfair historical fact about the Y:

Young

Mans

Christan

Association

So not fair. You shouldn't have to be a male and Christan. That's probably why they shortened it to "The Y" .

ANYWHO,

I drove to The Botanical Gardens in Brooklyn last weekend. It was fun, until my new vintage camera ran out of film. So I used an iPhone to take this picture of a flower. Not my favorite but at least pretty enough. Here it is:

I used an app called "CameraBag" which can effect a regular photo to make it look old. It has other effects too like magazine, sepia and black and white. I wouldn't buy it if I were you. It's not as great as I might describe it as.  A pretty crappy app really.

Ding-dong-ditch the doorbell

I just learned a new phrase.

Ding-dong-ditch the doorbell.

(dinG-donG-diTCh the DOorbell)

Definition; To ring a doorbell, then scram
